Professional Summary
Dr. Roxane Minkus is a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (C.R.C.) with
more than 16 years of experience serving individuals, businesses, and governmental agencies. Following extensive
academic preparation in counseling and vocational rehabilitation, she has undergone specialized training in clinical
hypnosis and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
In addition to working as a practitioner, Dr. Minkus has taught undergraduate and graduate counseling and rehabilitation
courses, supervised students pursuing their bachelors and masters degrees in rehabilitation counseling, and designed
a holistic vocational and psychosocial rehabilitation program for military veterans that was well-received by congressmen
and veterans. She has also conducted innovative research in vocational assessment and psychosocial adaptation to
chronic illnesses and disabilities.
